OUR PROCESS
Like everything good, our wood garage doors require a process that takes time, careful measurements, and constant communication with our clients.

The process starts with a client reaching out regarding custom wood garage doors for their house

The Central Oregon Garage Door team arrives on location to measure and double-check all dimensions and details

Our designers then work on a custom solution to fit the house and budget

Central Oregon Garage Door’s in house CAD engineer comes up with CAD drawings that we then present to the client

We choose a stain or paint color based on previous conversations with the client

We get client approval and move forward with all the details

Next, we order from all USA-made materials and build the frames of the door in our Redmond shop

Our craftsmen build the frame of the door then insulate the door and finish with the hand crafted overlay pieces

We then stain or paint the door in-house to get a complete six-sided stain on each section to seal the door

Next, we install the glass and add finishing touches. When done, we weigh the door in each section and put the door through engineering to come up with a balance weight for the springs

Lastly, we schedule time to come out and install the new custom wood garage doors. Our installers install the doors with all heavy gauge hardware tracks and components
