When our founders, Charissa and TJ Toney, started Central Oregon Garage Door more than 15 years ago, they began with a mission to craft durable, quality doors in this incredible community. Since the beginning, our family-owned business has been committed to Central Oregon and contributing positively to the local culture with our Central Oregon Garage Door give back program.
Why we started our give back program
Since we first opened our doors in 2005, Charissa has headed up the give back program. Our mission has always been to take an active and supportive role in our community.
She started the program with a focus on kid’s programs that supported growth in sports, music, and learning. Since then, we’ve expanded our reach to other non-profit organizations throughout Central Oregon.
Often, inspiration comes from our employees and their family members, as one of our goals is to build community amongst our staff by supporting what matters to them.

Our sponsorships around Central Oregon vary from local sports clubs to holiday help.
Bend Park & Rec: Central Oregon Garage Door has been a proud sponsor for Bend Park & Recreation sports teams. We support two basketball and soccer teams each year.
Bend FC Timbers: Each year, we support the Bend FC Timbers boys’ and girls’ teams.
Deschutes Mat Club: We are a gold level supporter for the Deschutes Mat Club, a local training and practice group for wrestlers of all ages.
Pine Ridge Elementary: We support Pine Ridge Elementary School by donating to their annual Fun Run that helps the PTA.
Sponsor a Family: We’re proud to donate funds to go toward things to help out a family in need each year.
Operation Christmas Child: Operation Christmas Child provides shoeboxes of toys and necessities each year at Christmas. Central Oregon Garage Door sponsors four boxes a year.
