CHI Enclosed Patio

The CHI enclosed patio project was an inventive solution for local homeowners who wanted to bring light and openness to their patio. The full-view aluminum doors from CHI helped to get more use out of the outdoor space.

For this project, we were approached by a couple with a retirement home on a Deschutes Riverfront property (whom we had already installed a garage door for). Because of the home’s proximity to the water, the temperature fluctuates more than normal. So we came up with a creative solution with an enclosed porch.

We chose full-view aluminum CHI garage doors in order to make the most of the outdoor space and views. And to give the porch a warm, open feel. The final project included two CHI garage doors. Which allowed for more use in the colder months while keeping full airflow during the summertime.
